Description

Original Owner - Condition - Like New - exactly as received from maker. Wood is meant to look aged as it is from an old (haunted) hotel or movie theater.

Downsizing my collection.  Too many puzzles, too little time and not enough space!  Hoping to find a happy new home for some of the puzzles I've already enjoyed.

About this item

PUZZLE BOX Tile a while

A tricky puzzle itself ..the box will become an "instant heirloom" ..with a vintage finish and a 19th century mechanism it looks and feel as if it should be kept in a glass case.

The start to open this box begins with a tile puzzle....on top of the box
[ It is a version of a design, a U.S. patent over a century ago ] requiring about 61 moves needed for the solution in the original design..
.
.... HOWEVER the puzzle, at your request can be ordered;at no extra cost ,in a shortened configuration.*

When the tile puzzle is solved the top moves and one may think the solution is at hand ... SURPRISE NOT !!...

..."There's still a few more conundrums on the veranda before y'all get to the front door..".

The interior of the is 2+1/2 " high by 3" wide by 3" deep

* The reason for a shortened the solution to this portion of the puzzle...??. It appeals to our 21st century ..attention span ..although I prefer the longer solution... the shorter version is,well just.., faster.
