The Top Box box was created Akio Kamei in 1983. Who is a Karakuri Creation Group’s master of craftsman. It is his classic work and  features very interesting mechanism. a beautiful shape and grain of box as a piece of art. it will be a perfect interior decorating item on your shelf.

The Kamei’s Stamp is on the bottom of the box.

Also this piece is over 40 years old, however, in perfect condition.

“The shape outside is almost the same as "Maze Box(M-4)". But the way to open it is completely different. You can't imagine the movement, because this box has a common shape. If you can't understand how to open it, you'll never open it, even by chance. A difficult trick box like "Twin Box" (M-1) can be opened by trying many times, thinking about it and spending a lot of time on it. At least, there is a possibility of opening it. But this box can't be opened by your own effort. You need a flash of genius.”

The Karakuri box mechanism works perfectly. opens and closes without any problems at all.
