Objective / Description:

Pack 3 identical heptominoes into a 6 x 6 box.

About the puzzle:

There are no normal solutions for the 3 identical heptominoes in the 6 x 6 box. However, there is a unique solution where the pieces are slanted and in mixed directions! The box just needs to be imperceptibly bigger than 6 x 6 for this solution to be possible. I had been looking for such a design for quite some time but had thought that a puzzle having a unique mixed-orientation solution would require more pieces than just three. I was wrong.
