Christmas Boots Japanese Secret Puzzle Box by Yasuaki Kikuchi (NEW)

This Christmas Boots Japanese Secret Puzzle Box was designed as a Christmas present for 2020. 

Crafted by Yasuaki Kikuchi, this Karakuri box takes on an interesting theme with a  Christmas Boot as the motif.  

The crafter describes his work in the following manner, "I made a pretty box with Christmas Boots as the motif. The gimmick is simple. As I learned after making everything, the red boots that Japanese people are familiar with are unique to the Japan and are not universal." 

Exterior dimensions of 108 x 84 x 47 mm.

Woods used are Chanchin, Mizuki (dogwood), Magnolia, Keyaki (Zelkova), Walnut and Maple.
