Description

This amazing assortment of mechanical cigarette boxes was collected by Laurie Brokenshire.

The majority are Japanese 1920 to 1960s though there are some from Italy and elsewhere.

Most are in good condition but a few need some restoration. A fun and not difficult project reflected in the very low starting price.

Laurie would have been happy to know that they are remaining in the puzzle community. Gondolier goes round while ballerina spins and music plays. Donkey poops cigarette. Mad birds and dogs pickup the cigarettes. Etcetera. Some challenges how to put cigarettes in the box in the first place. Some you will only see in the Karakuri Museum in Hakone.
