Butterfly box, a.k.a. Pleasure and Pain, by Wil Strijbos.

A famous puzzle (box? lock?) that has brought pleasure and/or pain to many puzzlers.


Instructions:

Turn the black "lock" tube straight up and then put EVERYTHING back EXACTLY in the start position. 

Please don't use any force - when you feel friction, stop!

Just turn things over, slide things back and forth carefully, change positions etc.

No Banging, No Rotational Moves, No Force Required at all! 

 

...and remember there is No Hurry, please take your time, and be sure you don't forget anything at the end... or pain awaits...

This copy comes from the 1st owner, and comes in its original box. It has minor scratches on the outer surface from normal use.
