Description

Improved Cluster Buster STC#49 by Stewart Coffin / Lee Krasnow - Pacific Puzzleworks

Lee Krasnow's Pacific Puzzleworks is a renowned super high precision workshop without equal in the puzzle world.  His pieces are cut with extremely low tolerances to create a perfect fit with this very demanding Coffin design.  Six canarywood pieces in original shrink wrap box from PPW, this is a first quality issue.

You will not find a finer example of this puzzle.

Lee's description of this puzzle: "Looking like clusters of six rhombic dodecahedrons, these puzzles are members of the Diagonal Burr family. Assembly is moderately difficult due to the dexterity required to align the two halves of the puzzle just right in order to get all of the pointy tips properly overlapping each other. Disassembly (i.e. "busting" the cluster) can be quite tricky because of the awkward placement of six fingers required to begin pushing the two halves apart. The classic version of the Cluster Buster has all six pieces identical in shape, whereas the improved version uses three different piece shapes which come in pairs. The slight variation between piece types in the improved version makes both assembly and disassembly more difficult."

Lean 2 (IPP32) by Stewart Coffin / Tom LenschA gorgeous tray packing puzzle produced by Tom Lensch in various exotic woods for Dave Rosetti's IPP32 exchange puzzle.  This is a classic Stewart Coffin design, STC #255 in his numbering system. The frame is double-sided, presenting two separate tray packing challenges with the four pieces.  Not easy, especially for the uninitiated!Read more here: Lean 2Shipping by USPS, payment via Zelle, check or money order.  If you have any questions, please...
