description from Eric Fuller:
The Autumn Puzzle Box is No. 10 in the line of unique Stickman puzzle boxes and derives its name from its collage of attractive fall colors. It is handcrafted from quality wenge, padauk, and leopardwood pieces. The Autumn Box is of moderate difficulty to solve and requires a bare minimum of 15 moves to get into both of its hidden compartments.
The Autumn Puzzle Box comes with a color-illustrated instruction booklet and is limited to only 30 completed pieces. Each piece is signed by the artist.
also, the description from Robert Yarger via the Stickman Puzzle Gallery:
The Stickman No. 10 Puzzlebox is also called the “Autumn Box” due to its application of Fall colors. This was Robert’s first experience with using padauk, and he did not realize that he would also be arrayed in decorative Autumn colors, as this wood’s sawdust tends to permanently dye almost anything it lands on its own unique shade of orange. The thin layer of dust it left all over the wood shop was quite bizarre to behold. The decorative dovetail locking bars of this box can freely slide in either direction, but not totally off. The logical assumption would be that freeing one end or the other would somehow allow something else to happen, but it doesn’t. Opening this puzzle requires the discovery of a very elusive trick. Once discovered, its two secret chambers become easy to access after only 15 moves. Locking both sides back up again requires implementing this trick half way.
