Description

based on Kagen Sound's Maze Burr and designed using John Raush's Maze Burr analysis program. made by Stefan Trifonov ('Trifcho') of SmarTrIQ Puzzles, printed in PLA. the tolerances and tension on this are absolutely perfect: movement of all panels is made as effortless as possible without allowing for accidental 'gravity' moves as the puzzle is turned.

this puzzle is reconfigurable, and all outer panels are easily interchangeable with a magnetic tool to remove and replace the pins. (the inner sliding panels [or 'pin panels'], on the other hand, are happy where they are and tend to get cranky when removed.)

comes with a book of 50 configurations with solutions of increasing complexity, up to 379 moves, plus tools, extra pins, and a carrying bag so you can take it to the dog park.  ...but you probably shouldn't take it to the dog park.

Juno - Spade Case (2018)
number four of the card case series (♦ ♣ ♥ ♠). panel movement on this is very loose, to the point where the panels will slide a little on their own if the puzzle is tilted.  like Club Case (on which panel movement is tight), it was received like this, and i don't know if all copies are equal in this regard, but it doesn't affect the solution. comes with original solution sheet. buyer pays shipping. shipment will be by USPS Priority Mail, in...

Stickman - Pirate Lock (CubicDissection version, 2017)
originally a component of Pirate's Wallet (Stickman #27) in 2014, made separately by Eric Fuller and sold through Cubicdissection in 2017. made of maple and granadillo. Eric's description: Robert and I have talked about reproducing some of his older work for a while. He sent me a few designs and this lock really grabbed me. Originally a component on his Pirate's Wallet puzzle box, he had many requests for the lock alone. It requires seven steps to solve and has a couple very...

Altekruse 38
a 38-piece variation on William Altekruse's original puzzle patented in 1890, designed by Stewart Coffin and made by Interlocking Puzzles, who produced several of his designs.  this one is from 2001. Stewart described this variation in The Puzzling World of Polyhedral Dissections (Ch.6): Once the basic principle is understood, these larger versions are not very difficult to assemble except that some trial and error may be required to figure out the correct order of assemb...
