Description

Fidget Burr

designed by Tim Alkema
crafted by Eric Fuller (2020)

  • condition: as new
  • description: A unique five piece interlocking burr cube and the third puzzle in Tim Alkema’s cube dissection series alongside Rift and Schism. Like the other two designs, burr pieces hold together the separated halves of the cube, but Fidget Burr stands out for its especially narrow and tricky assembly path that makes the solve very fun to explore.

Rift by Tim Alkema, Eric Fuller
Riftdesigned by Tim Alkemacrafted by Eric Fullercondition: as newdescription: an elegant interlocking puzzle with three burr pieces captured by a two-piece “cage” that shifts and dances around the assembly, creating very unconventional motion. Despite the short assembly sequence it feels tougher than expected because the cage keeps changing what’s possible, and even the disassembly has a small trick to find.product page. https://cubicdissection.com/products/riftThe item will be shipped fro...

Self Framing Burrdesigned by Ronald Kint-Bruynseelscrafted by Eric Fuller (2010)condition: as newdescription: A clever six piece burr where the frame is not a separate component but is formed by the burr pieces themselves during assembly. De Kas by Alfons Eyckmans and Eric Fuller
De Kasdesigned by Alfons Eyckmanscrafted by Eric Fullercondition: as newdescription: it's Alfons Eyckmans’ next-step evolution after Spiral and Steps, with six board-burr plates wrapped around four unique 8-unit burr pieces. It takes a 24-move sequence to free the first piece, demanding patience and careful control. Reassembly without any help is practically impossible. In Canarywood and Padauk it’s a stunning display, and even the half-assembled states look like intentional modern sculpture...
