Description

Fermium

designed by Donald Osselaer
crafted by Maurice Vigouroux (2012)

  • condition: as new
  • description: An extremely satisfying board burr with an incredible 226-step unique assembly sequence. That places Fermium only around the middle of Donald Osselaer’s high-level board burr series, with Millennium requiring well over a thousand moves to fully assemble. Needless to say, Fermium is not a puzzle to take apart without the instructions. Following the solution sequence is great fun in itself, with every precise move slowly bringing the structure together. Maurice Vigouroux’s craftsmanship is fantastic, with perfectly sliding pieces, a sturdy feel throughout and an excellent final fit.

De Kas by Alfons Eyckmans and Eric Fuller
De Kasdesigned by Alfons Eyckmanscrafted by Eric Fullercondition: as newdescription: it's Alfons Eyckmans’ next-step evolution after Spiral and Steps, with six board-burr plates wrapped around four unique 8-unit burr pieces. It takes a 24-move sequence to free the first piece, demanding patience and careful control. Reassembly without any help is practically impossible. In Canarywood and Padauk it’s a stunning display, and even the half-assembled states look like intentional modern sculpture...
