This Heart to Heart Box was created in 1987 by Akio Kamei who is legendary craftsman of karakuri box
and also former Karakuri Creation Group chairman. It is his masterpiece, very rare and really valuable one.
This work futures unique tricks, very high quality production, and a beautiful shape and grain of box as a piece of art. it will be a perfect interior decorating item on your shelf.
“ My motive for creating this was to invent a new box that couldn't be opened alone. I created the box with more than 11 buttons which can't be pushed with only two hands. The shape became "Heart" because it requires two people to open it. But you have to push with equal power and at the same time. You have to match your minds to open it. Otherwise, you can't confirm your "Love" for each another. ”
