This is the final run and only collectors version of 2LIT, and the first run that includes 2 solves now and a certificate of authenticity that is signed, dated, and numbered.
2LIT is a fun puzzle that uses some unique mechanics to force you to get very creative.
Inspired by 5L Box, 2LIT has a sliding door with a voxel attached to it, that sweeps the insides as you try to solve it. To make things even more interesting a window is placed on the door so that at any point in time you will have 4 voxel access to the box, or 2 voxel, and sometimes only 1.
This shifting nature makes for some laugh out loud aha moments, and a sense of satisfaction when you finally get that 5th piece in.
Burrtools cannot solve it, but it's not terribly difficult. Nick Baxter solved it in 3 minutes. Some take a few hours, and some are still staring at their copies.
This is the only version that also includes a 17 step puzzle to get 4 of the 5 pieces, out of the box, before you can attempt to get all 5 back in. (BT File available for this)
2LIT ranked 11th on MPD's favorite 3D packers of all time. This was only months after its initial release.
Cubic Dissection even did a run of them.
This Collectors Edition is much larger, making it a treat to solve as you will have more access and room to work. The pieces are all weighted to 3 ounces to give a premium feel. (Stone Golem version pics were taken before lowering it to 3oz)
The original was 14 layers, tediously swapped in. Due to advancements these new copies have countless layers and weaving patterns that have been aligned to match the layered style.
In 2021 I sold these for 35$ and they were half the size and quality. For this final run they are only 45$, a great value.
I will keep these available until interest is met.
