This is an older piece by Don Closterman. Each of his pieces was made unique and this is the #1 version of his cube series.
These large cubes would have their pieces packed away into a large stair case formation when not in use.

So you get 2 puzzles here, a packer, and a cube.

Pieces are Euclayptus and box is maple with ziricote splines. made in March 2006.
