Description

Smack-N Moles Puzzlebox

DESCRIPTION: These whimsical puzzle boxes were originally designed for this year’s IPP puzzle exchange, but had such charm and appeal that they warranted becoming #37 in the official Stickman puzzle box series. As exchange puzzle designs, these are not quite as large or complex as most Stickman boxes, but still pack elusive solutions into a little space. They require a minimum of 8 sequential steps to open, and measure 3.5” x 3” x 2.5”. These puzzles do function somewhat like the traditional Whack A Mole game, in that smacking one mole with the mallet causes another to pop up. The adorable little moles seem to enjoy it. The goal, however, is to deduce just how to open the box and free the little critters. Stickman Smack-N Mole puzzles are crafted from quality walnut, and limited in edition to 200 completed boxes.

Cornerstone (Goh Pit Khiam) - IPP 40 (FREE shipping)
Hello. This is my IPP 40 exchange puzzle, designed by Goh Pit Khiam. The objective is packing the 6 pieces (2x I, 3xP, 1x L) into the frame, through a 2-unit hole at the bottom left corner. The red L piece must be placed at the bottom right corner, as indicated in the frame. There is only 1 solution. However, there is also a mini-trap (My IPP presentation subtly nudged you towards this trap :) )The frame's dimension is 14.5 x 10.5 x 2 cm. The pieces are thick and feel solid. You can choose White or...

Block Z (Goh Pit Khiam) - IPP 39 exchange puzzle (FREE shipping)
This was my exchange puzzle at IPP 39 in Japan (5 years ago). I found enough pieces to make some extra copies. All pieces were laser-cut. The pieces and frame's colour will be random. Objective: Fit 1 tetromino and 4 dominoes into a 4x4 box as follows. The pieces must go through the bottom hole.Design concept from Goh Pit Khiam: When I first designed The Restricted Zone, which was a similar puzzle where pieces fill the box entirely, I was curious whether I could create a "2D caged-burr" but with...
