Description

Designed by Brian Young for the IPP27 exchange.  It might look like a maze but it’s way trickier than it looks. Not so straight forward.

This puzzle has never been sold.   I’ve lost the original card so I’ll print a new one and the solution to go with it.

I’ve started a retirement puzzle room clean up and found this copy. But I’ve gone through all the solve steps of the puzzle and it works properly.

I have no idea what this is actually worth these days so I’ve set the starting price as my original selling price back in 2007 and I’ll let the market sort that out.

Note: prices and payment is in Australian dollars not USD

Original text describing the puzzle from our website way back then is below.

And general information about payment and shipping below that.

Original Text from Mr Puzzle website:

Edward Hordern IPP27 Puzzle Exchange – Gold Coast, Australia. August 2007. 200 made.

Presented by Patrick Major.  Made by Mr Puzzle Australia. Designed by Brian Young.

The simplest maze in the world, or is it? Simply get the ball bearing from START to FINISH.

At a previous IPP Patrick and Brian had been sitting in a bar discussing puzzles (as they usually are…) when Patrick thought of the challenge to make the simplest looking maze in the world; of course it might not be the easiest to do. Brian could not resist the challenge and this puzzle is the direct result of that discussion.

Puzzle made from Queensland Blackbean. Size: 147mm x 50mm x 20mm.

General Information:

I know I don’t have much feedback but this is Brian & Sue Young aka Mr Puzzle auctioning these puzzles. If you’re concerned then contact me separately via our Mr Puzzle email address mrpuzzle@mrpuzzle.com.au

But please don’t email and ask to discontinue the auction. All auctions will run their duration. It’s the fairest course for everyone.

All prices in Australian Dollars (not US Dollars).  We much prefer payment via Wise because the charges are far less. But we can accept PayPal.

The puzzles will be shipped from us here in Australia by Australia Post.

If we have other items listed and you buy more than one we’re happy to combine ship and quote postage based on weight.

Cost to ship this puzzle Express:

Australia 15.00

NZ 38.00

US/Canada/EU/Asia  44.00

UK/Scandanavia 49.00

Other countries please request a quote.

Ovolo 8 piece Yavuz Demirhan designed burr
Made for the Edward Hordern IPP36 in Kyoto, Japan. August 2016Designed by Laszlo Molnar. Made by Mr Puzzle. As soon as Brian saw this design published by Yavuz Demirhan on Facebook he immediately wrote to Yavuz to get permission to produce it.  He knew it would be a winner!  A nice balance of wood interwoven with acrylic makes a good looking puzzle.  This puzzle is not so difficult to take apart.   But mix up the pieces, walk away and forget about them, come back later and you’ll find it q...
