⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——09. Fisher Cube (>2005)
not one of the 80's originals, but made at least prior to 2005, which is when a batch were made and then later auctioned with signatures. this one is unsigned.
and because it's unsigned, for the sake of verification, photo #3 (showing the puzzle disassembled) was one of the images i sent to Tony to verify that this was one of his. a portion of the Twistypuzzles.com message thread is copied here with his permission...

i've attached some photos of the Fisher Cube below. are there any details in there that might identify it as your work? i do know that the core is lubricated with Vaseline or something similar, which i believe is something you use (or have used) on puzzles.
this is the only one of the three unsigned puzzles i'm uncertain about, because i don't recall when or from whom i bought it

Yes it's mine. I can see the black marker pen ink. It was a time when I used it to make it fully black after the sanding which always leaves it slightly grey.

You can also add that people can check with me as well if there are any doubts. I only started signing them when people repeatedly asked me to.
[Tony can be contacted through Twistypuzzles.com (username Tony Fisher), or found on various bike trails, hills, caves, and rock walls in the general mid-England area.]
condition ♪:
stickers show slight discolouration at the edges, most likely due to marker dye being absorbed over time. for some reason this is more evident on some colours than on others. industrial chemists, feel free to comment.
♫:
—1. everything i have is in the photos.
—2. shipment is by USPS Priority Mail, insured for the full sale price and trackable.
—3. shipping will be calculated after all auctions in this Fortnight are closed (because it makes invoicing so much easier).
—4. payment is via PayPal only.
—5. all puzzles in my collection have been kept out of sunlight, in a humidity-stable room or sealed plastic container, away from pets unless they can solve them, and in a non-smoking household.
—6. shipping prices have gotten ridiculous so i'm capping them at $30: if shipping costs more, i will pay the balance.
thank you for looking, and good luck if you bid.
