“Four pounds of metal mayhem!

Thirteen notched bars slide and interlock to create a pleasing four pound mass of interwoven solid brass. The puzzle comes disassembled in an aluminium presentation case. Although the puzzle looks and feels intimidating, we carefully selected the design so that it can be assembled by the determined puzzler.”

This is cool Ai inspired design by Tamas, there were several completely different looking designs in this series of 4.The particular one I have has a neat packing element in the base of the tree. The branches (wires) and leaves (randomly split wood pieces) are seemingly arranged in a tree shape around the trunk (tree branches). Once assembled it really does look like a ‘Bonsai’ tree!This will be shipped disassembled for packing purposes, and cost will be determined at close of auction.

This is a very nice design and build by Kevin from decades ago. It’s a ‘Cube and Plank’ design featuring Walnut and Cherry. Chequered Binary Cube by Kevin Holmes/Jacques Haubrich

This is an early design by Jacques and features 11 checkered pieces that are nicely crafted by Kevin. Pieces are Maple and Padauk.The main goal is to create a cube from all of the pieces, with additional goals of removing a piece to form a hollow cube. Instruction sheet is included.I made a Box for this puzzle from Walnut with a Wenge/Peruvian Walnut Bottom and a Tigerwood/Peruvian Walnut Top.
