Wayne Daniel crafted this gorgeous 12 piece burr in 1996 as an exchange puzzle for IPP16 in Luxembourg.  This twelve-piece burr has unusual internal construction to make an otherwise impossible puzzle possible... just burrly.

A holey 12-piece (4x4x4) burr, assembling in a checkerboard pattern. Exchanged by Abel Garcia, Designed and crafted by Wayne A. Daniel.

67 × 67 × 67 mm, using 20 x 20 mm stock in both zebrawood and yellowheart.

Ships disassembled. Assembled photo is a similar puzzle for seeing the completed puzzle look. Solution available on request.
