Pile Of Disks 3 Puzzle Box by Akio Kamei

The Pile of Disks 3 Puzzle was developed as a Christmas present for Karakuri Members in 2021. 

The crafter describes this work by stating the following: "Since the introduction of the pile of disc (M-12) in 1985, I have made various improvements.  With this, I was finally able to create a stable mechanism.  I have improved the structionve without forgetting the basic principle that there is no axis for rotation in the center of the box.  I think it is a smooth movement."

Crafted by Akio Kamei and constructed of Maple, Rose Wood and Keyaki (Zelkova).

Exterior measures 80 x 80 x 30 mm.
