6x6x6 by Willem van del Poel, IPP24

This puzzle was presented at one of Willem's last IPP events. This is a direct line to his first that he said he designed behind his forhead... long before computers were able to assist. And started cutting the wood two long years before the design and solution was ever written to page. The full story is just amazing and the more I explore the work of the masters I see the the intricacies of the minds that have developed the tools we use today were not just happy with one kind of puzzle... true polymaths never are. 

This is a small puzzle. Approx... 1.5 x1.5 x 1.5 cube but the challenge, pedigree, and rarity is what makes this such a special piece. If you don't own a Willem Poel puzzle yet... I invite you to Google this brilliant mind and then bid quickly. Because I don't see this puzzle coming up for auction almost ever.
