Shiura's Daily Hex
A calendar packing puzzle with ten hexagonal unit, two-sided pieces (dark and light sides). Up to three challenges each day: solve using 1) both sides of pieces (easiest), 2) front side only (dark grain wood), 3) back side only (light grain).
Quite difficult, but fortunately Shiura has an on-line tool to assist in placing pieces, from 1 to all 10 pieces for each of the three challenges.
Not small; measures: 152mm x 164mm x 7mm (~6" x 6.5" x 0.3")
Materials include wood veneer, laminate, and plywood.
