Description

This is Felix’s first puzzle and it certainly doesn’t look like someone who’s just started down the puzzle path, the fit and finish is quite spectacular!

Comes in original packaging.

Here's a description from Cubicdissection:

“Titan is a simple-looking, yet highly challenging take-apart puzzle. The first design by Felix Ure, it's widely regarded as being both incredibly difficult and very satisfying to solve. The goal is to open the sphere but to do so you must defeat the mechanism which keeps the two spheres together.

Machined from solid brass, Titan measures 2 inches (50mm) in diameter and weighs 515g or approximately one lb. The brass is left unfinished, leaving it to slowly patinate and darken with use. Difficulty: 9/10.

Puzzle Mad wrote an excellent blog post; Mr. Puzzle's video review is excellent but does contain spoilers”

Gouge Packing Puzzle - Gaétan Gouge by John Devost
I previously made a few of this surprisingly difficult packing puzzle by Gaétan and at the time I didn’t have any contact info for him but then a few years ago I was surprised by one of his puzzle purchases in ‘Paradise’.My plan was to make another run but life kinda’ took a turn so now I’ve managed to sort myself out and began making another run.Allard kindly blogged about the copies I made in 2014, here’s an excerpt:https://allardspuzzlingtimes.blogspot.com/2014/04/gouge-packing-p...

This classic design was one of my earliest puzzle builds in the early 2000’s that I made for Bill Cutler. It features 18 pieces with four solutions, however finding one will definitely keep you busy for some time!I’ve always wanted to revisit it but in a much smaller scale.  This size is small enough to fit in a pocket so definitely not as tiny as Allan Boardman’s version! As always everything is given my ‘Triple Buffing’ process making for smooth buttery finish.Crafted from Canarywood...

Tube It In - William Strijbos by John Devost
It seems hard to believe that it's been almost 20 years since I first made a small run of this clever packing puzzle design in 2006.  William has graciously allowed me to offer up another run as there were only a dozen copies made in 2006.The original metal version was William’s exchange puzzle at the IPP21 in Tokyo. This version is made using many wood varieties and includes a Stand.  The entire puzzle has been ‘triple buffed’ giving it a very nice sheen.Overall size is a little over 4...

Tube It In 2 - William Hu by John Devost
I’m sure everyone is quite familiar with William Strijbos’ original Tube It In design so I don’t think I need to give a lengthy description but should say that William Hu came up with a novel design twist on this awesome puzzle and he has graciously allowed me to make a small run.I’ve long since left the puzzle scene after completely retiring, however I did finish up a select few of these and thought I’d offer them up for sale. This puzzle is crafted from Padauk with Yellowheart Slipfea...
