Description

I received this unbelievably high level burr from Alfons.

Alfons and Jack has begun exploring the highest move counts to they could find for an 18 piece burr and this puzzle is the culmination of that effort.

As you can see Alfons printed this copy with the pieces being different colours to achieve that one lone solution with a level move count of 166.6.8.1.1.1.2.4.

Shipping cost will need to be determined at close of auction.

This classic design was one of my earliest puzzle builds in the early 2000’s that I made for Bill Cutler.It features 18 pieces with four solutions, however finding one will definitely keep you busy for some time!I’ve always wanted to revisit it but in a smaller scale, I used a 3/16” unit size with the overall size being approximately 6” x 4”.The woods used were salvaged from an old upright piano from the 1920’s that I layed out the keys in a wall hanging (see last photo).
