Tern Key is a delightful time waster and a gentle introduction to the greater world of n-arys!
N-arys involve repeating a sequence of moves in a predictable and repetitive manner as the sequence grows in complexity. It make for a genre of puzzles that people enjoy for meditative purposes or to disguise the logical sequence in unusual formats or subtle construction.
Tern Key seeks to introduce the solver to working in 3 after dealing with binary which can be slightly unintuitive since people find it easier and quicker to work in binary or quaternary due to the even numbers. But it's a delight to slide the acrylic pieces with metal pins to grasp as the solver learns and absorbs the ternary logic.

For the first edition of a puzzle from 2013, it is in excellent shape and I can't find any flaws or issues with it.
