Description
When people asked for a low priced Sequential Discovery puzzle so they could try out examples of the genre, the trilogy of Unsafe Deposit, Bolt Action, and Mighty Pin were what people highly recommended at the time. Unfortunately, they aren't being produced anymore which is a shame for the newcomers to the puzzling world today. However, it still stands as the prime puzzle to recommend as a "gateway" puzzle into the Sequential Discovery genre!

Bolt Action is the middle child, but unlike most middle children who are deprived of attention by the older and younger sibling, Bolt demands attention and love on its own merits! It has a secret to be found independently of removing the coin, and feels the closest to the traditional tool-usage that people think of when they hear SD.

Alan couldn't ship out copies with USA quarters internationally due to restrictions on shipping currency, however it was only an issue for him because he would otherwise send out hundreds of them. I can send an international shipment with a quarter in it without issue for anyone who wants that sort of authenticity to go with the printed coins Alan supplied.

I accept and prefer using Zelle as my payment method of choice.
I accept Paypal. I prefer Friends & Family due to the IRS tax rules. But if you rather pay with Goods & Services, I will accommodate that preference.
I accept Wise for international buyers.
I am willing to consider other payment methods.

Shipping is USPS or UPS
Buyer chooses the shipping service and shipping speed, First Class or Priority (assuming the package is under the weight limit for First Class).
Insurance is optional, but buyer has to cover it if it is desired.
I ask the winner to hold off on paying until after I calculate and message final shipping costs to be added to the final bid.

Does anyone remembers Oskar's Matchboxes? The solver had 5 matchboxes with a square shell and a box attached to it at different spots from piece to piece, and then they had to be put them together so all 5 boxes would fit inside another matchbox. It was a very interesting puzzle with 4 cavities to store small items inside and people had fun finding multiple ways to put the boxes together. It was fairly popular and not the only one of it's type! Matchbox Play Six by Olexandre Kapkan upped the cou...

Box of the Celts by Numbskull Puzzles
Box of the Celts is a very strong contender for being the hardest sequential discovery puzzle out there! But it's very fair with it's difficulty, so I can't truly say it's the most difficult puzzle in the world. I'm looking at you SMS Box and I still say you are very unfair with your solve! It involves aspects from puzzle boxes, puzzle locks, disentanglements, coordinated motion, mazes and hidden mechanisms to torment you!BotC by Numbskull Puzzles or Matt M, is diabolical. It's surprisingly stra...

Buried Vault by Tacroy (#3 in the Buried City Trilogy)
Where, oh where do I begin with this utterly wild and marvelous puzzle?Do I start with how it's the third in the series and how tacroy went extremely far with the presentation and lore of this puzzle's backstory, steadily building it up puzzle by puzzle for a wonderful climax once the third puzzle has been solved which feeds back into the clues and snippets hidden in the prior 2 puzzles of this trilogy?Should I cover how the puzzling was incredibly fun and brought me on a wild ride with very cre...

Japanese Yosegi Sliding Box

Japanese Yosegi Sliding Box
This is one of many, many, many yosegi boxes where the goal is to open up the puzzle box by moving panels around on the 6 sides of the box and sometimes with further tricks involved. It's not a terribly difficult puzzle. In fact, it's fairly easy and I'd use it to introduce non-puzzlers to the hobby as the first starter puzzle for them. I liked how cute it was and fun to find the next move in this solve. The only complaint I'd have is that the seams of the panels were a tad too visible, but that...
