Description
Sweet Lock is quite the ambitious puzzle considering what went into building it and the work needed fora figuring out how to solve it! It's a difficult and lengthy solve that took me several days of work spread out over several months as I had to keep taking a break until I came up with a novel idea to return to the puzzle and try out my mostly futile guesses.
It was sold with the advertising of being a blind maze/sequential discovery/puzzle lock, and that genre-defying mash-up is what I love to see in puzzles, books, games, and movies! Because genres are meant to be guidelines instead of being ironclad rules to follow. So when a creator decides to break the typical conventions and freely work with multiple genres, the result tends to be spectacular or at the very least very unusual in its distinctiveness!
This copy of Sweet Lock comes with some minor patina that still remains even after I spent a little time cleaning and polishing up the metal. It's also numbered #84 if anyone finds that specific number compelling to have. Will ship in original shipping box (the cardboard has been engineered for incredible stability and protection!)
As a side note, Chris unfortunately is losing access to his local shop for manufacture and machinating tools/needs. So he's unlikely to make other puzzles in the future. This is not a statement of certainty that he will not be making anymore puzzles ever again, but rather a comment on the lowered likelihood. He had an amazing run with 4 incredible puzzles in 4 years!
Please keep in
mind that next week is the Thanksgiving celebration so I may be delayed
in shipping out puzzles until the Monday after Thanksgiving at the
earliest.
