Description
One Hand Box is an unusual puzzle that evolved out of a commissioned packing puzzle. It was meant to be a one-off, but then Rob decided to share this very enjoyable packer with more than just one lucky fellow (albeit with permission of the commissioner who was very gracious to allow it). I don't know what the original puzzle was like since there has been some changes and refinement into this puzzle for the masses to enjoy. But One Hand Box is a delight!

First, the puzzle is received as a sealed up and heavily lacquered rectangular box. Then as the solver pushes the lid open, the "pin" piece pops up. Like a grenade, when the pin is pulled, pieces will go flying! Hopefully to less than fatal consequences for the solver though! The challenges of the puzzle is three-fold:
First the solver has to figure out how everything goes back together just for resetting the puzzle, which is no mean feat! But the lid refuses to slide open any further than halfway!
So secondly, the solver has to find the alternative way to pack the pieces inside.
And once that's all said and done, the true meaning of the puzzle's name finally comes up! Try to pack the pieces back inside with only one hand! It seems challenging since the magnets on the pieces love to push against each other to frustrate all solvers, but it's easier than one would think if one pays careful attention to the order of insertion into the box.
Please keep in mind that next week is the Thanksgiving celebration so I may be delayed in shipping out puzzles until the Monday after Thanksgiving at the earliest.

New Old School (NOS) Burr #5 (Crenal) by Gregory Benedetti

New Old School (NOS) Burr #5 (Crenal) by Gregory Benedetti
Gregory took one look at the traditional 6-piece burr style and decided to design a 6-piece burr that would torment and screw with the minds of all prospective burr solvers. He cut out triangular notches, added triangular cuts, and introduced a wild coordinate-motion moves integral to taking this burr apart and back together. For such a remarkable idea, it's oddly hard to find anyone who is willing to make copies of this series! Eric noted that it'd be a nightmare to make and turned it down. But ...

Al Bus by Jordi Gallen
Al Bus is a fantastic printed puzzle that I had to get just for the appeal to my inner child Harry Potter fan. Growing up with that book series and movies left a life-long mark on me as a fantasy fan and when the puzzle based on the book series came along, I had to get it for myself! It's a wonderful SD puzzle that took a few hours to solve and was a lovely time. I loved spotting all of the little references in this one and hope that a similar fan can enjoy this puzzle just as much as I have over...

Double Slideways by Raymond Stanton
So once upon a time, Cubic Dissection came out with a lovely puzzle called Slideways that people just went nuts over. It was a 3-piece burr that assembled unlike any burr puzzle before it with coordinate motion moves! It was such an excellent introductory puzzle to the genre of coordinate motion puzzles, also co-mo puzzles for faster speech and slang. It had it all! It was small, easily shared around to even non-puzzlers and simple enough to convey the sheer magic of the deceptively simple and y...
