Description
Gary Foshee was one of the early innovators of "sequential discovery" and "blind solve" modern puzzles. Excalibur (which may or may not be one or the other!) was Gary's exchange puzzle at IPP19, held in London in 1999. It was both designed and manufactured by Gary. The goal, of course, is to remove the King Arthur's sword from the "stone." Note the beautiful "IPP XIX" brass plaque attached to the aluminum "stone."
Excalibur comes as received 24 years ago at IPP19 in its original felt pouch with attached instructions (see second photo), and remains in very nice condition. I will provide a copy of the solution to Excalibur from
the IPP19 booklet.
I will ship within the US at insured priority mail pricing for $10.20, or via ground advantage (first class mail) for between $6.35 and $6.65, depending on postal code. I am happy to ship
internationally at cost, but I cannot always guarantee that overseas
packages can be insured or tracked.
