Description
This is a old lock exchanged by Peter Hajek at IPP 23 (about 21 years ago). The objective is to unlock the padlock.
The puzzle comes with the original pouch and the paper description.
"The lock uses a variation of a device from a large 19th century iron padlock in my collection. Ivo Splichal simplified the mechanism and produced this small brass version.
The trick is more difficult to find on the original lock where there are various other things to explore, but we included a red herring to provide a partial compensation."
