Description

"Toad" was the 2023 Christmas gift of the very popular Osamu Kasho of the Karakuri Creation Group. The "box" is in the guise of a cute little toad, whose mouth opens and closes, as if saying "Ribet. Ribet." As per Kasho's description,

"The mechanism is simple, but you may have a bit of a hard time finding
the clues"

I would certainly describe the solution as "elusive." Toad measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1 3/4" (8 cm x 8 cm x 4 cm). The box is no longer currently available through the Karakuri Creation Group web site.

Of course, the box is pristinely made, and my copy is in mint condition and in its original box in its original plastic bag. Since it was a Karakuri Christmas present, it does not come with its individual solution, but I will supply a photocopy of the solution from the collected 2023 Karakuri Christmas puzzle solution sheet.

I can ship within the US as a ground advantage (first class) package for between $7.00 and $9.00 (depending on postal code), or at insured priority mail pricing for between $9.25 and $13.45 (depending on postal code) if preferred. I am happy to ship internationally at cost (typically between $20 and $30, depending on country), but I cannot always guarantee that overseas packages can be insured. "Detour Box" (DA-5) was the 2024 Christmas gift of fast rising star Daiki Arimura of the Karakuri Creation Group. Honestly, it is the cutest little box to behold!
