Flat Vortex 2 by Chi-Ren Chen (CRACKED!)

This cool puzzle was designed by Chi-Ren Chen and made by Brian Menold at Woodwonders. Very unfortunately, this copy is cracked and has a small mark on one of the L shaped pieces. I received the puzzle in this condition but Brian compensated me for the damaged puzzle. Instead of throwing it away, I decided to keep it since it was still fully functional, and the crack didn’t seem to break the puzzle with usage. Now, this crack is not your typical one. It can only be seen when the frame around the pieces are tight, as in the middle of the solving. I believe Brian didn’t see this, so the thickness of the L pieces does not accommodate for this. What I’m trying to explain is that if the crack were to be glued, the pieces would be too tight to actually move inside the frame. I guess you could sand the pieces but that would be too much work and remove the coating. Please keep this in mind when bidding on this puzzle. With that out of the way, the design itself is awesome. It has a tricky level 12.8.3.4 that requires many rotations, even for the first piece to come out. 

The puzzle has been carefully stored in a controlled humidity and it is shipped from a smoke free home.
