Description

Cannon & Ball, from Hoffmann's Puzzles Old & New, Ch. 2, #4. Works great, looks great, internal wood threads work smoothly. Five pieces. Manufactured around 1900. The body of the puzzle appears slightly curved; I'm not sure if it was made that way, but it does not interfere with the disassembly. The oval hole at the end is supposed to be oval; you'll discover why while solving it. If you want a photo of the puzzle disassembled, message me. The craftsmanship on the wooden threads is just amazing to me.
