Description

As I continue to heal after the loss of my wife I have decided to let go of this exquisite piece by Felix.  This was our 27th wedding anniversary gift, and features four ‘hammered’ Brass Lunar coasters.

Here’s a description from Felix:

“Originally commissioned by Steven Canfield, creator of the fantastic puzzle and cocktail blog 'Boxes and Booze', this coaster box was designed to hold a set of 4 Lunar Coasters inside a puzzle.

When other puzzle and coaster enthusiasts heard of the project, they wanted to get in on the action, so a small batch was made, each with varying materials and finishes on the coasters.

The puzzling had to be easy enough to allow quick coaster access when needed, so it's by far the easiest puzzle we've made, but also one of the most useful.

The coaster box is CNC machined from aluminium, brass, and copper, and stands 66mm high, with a square base of 111 x 111mm.

The complete box weighs 2.6kg.”

Slot Machine - Stewart Coffin Design #185 by Henry Strout
I have decided to offer up this puzzle in an effort to further thin out my personal collection.  This classic Coffin design was Henry’s IPP 24 Exchange puzzle at Tokyo, Japan  in 2004 and marked his second appearance in the exchange.Eric Fuller (RIP) released (2005) a modified version with a wood slotted top to make the puzzle much more difficult! Here’s Stewart’s description:“Try your luck on this one - or test your patience! The seven polyomino-type pieces of Slot Machine are inserted...

30 Notched Sticks - George Hart - 3D printed by Stephanie Cervi
This is a cool puzzle that displays nicely, although it does come apart I wouldn’t suggest it as it does not contain a key piece. Here’s a description from Stephanie:“This exceptionally challenging stick assembly puzzle is made up of 30 identical sticks, arranged along the edges of a dodecahedron.  Getting started is easy enough, but the last few pieces will delight and confound even experienced puzzlers.”Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.
