Description

Boxed In is a puzzle box handcrafted from visually striking exotic woods by Dee Dixon of DEDwood Crafts. It combines multiple puzzle genres including sequential discovery. Begin by manipulating four knobs to open the lid—then more puzzling awaits. The design features mechanics not seen in Dee’s previous works. Numerous steps are required to solve the puzzle with several “aha” moments along the way. The puzzle measures 6.5 x 5.5 x 3 inches, which makes it one of the biggest puzzle boxes that Dee Dixon made.

The retail version sold out at $465; this is a slightly discounted S&D (scratch & dent) version which also sold out. I purchased it for $430 (including 10.2% sales tax) as the first owner. The only cosmetic flaw is a minor dent at one inner corner shown in the 3rd photo, which I’ve lightly sanded and refinished with a food-grade wood finish.

The puzzle is located in the US. Shipping costs $10-12 within US. PayPal F&F is appreciated.

Mighty Pin by Alan Lunsford
https://kineticcraftspuzzles.com/products/mighty-pin"Mighty Pin is both a continuation of themes that were established in the previous puzzles as well as a brand new experience of it’s own. Can you release the quarter from the box? This is designed to be the most difficult of the three puzzles and contains the most ambitious mechanisms of any of my puzzles to date. You have been warned!"The puzzle is located in the US. Buyer pays shipping. Payment is accepted via Zelle or PayPal Friends & Fam...

Gem by Osanori Yamamoto / Pelikan
https://www.pelikanpuzzles.eu/detail/gemKevin Sadler wrote about it:“This gorgeous gem of a puzzle by Osanori Yamamoto is simply stunning made here from Purpleheart. I have previously bought and solved this in April where it was an extra puzzle that I chose to “make up the postage” from Japan! Osanori’s version was a gorgeous creation and Pelikan have lived up to the same very high standards. When I bought the original, Osanori-san told me how pleased he was because it was his favourite ...

Unsafe Deposit by Alan Lunsford
https://kineticcraftspuzzles.com/products/unsafe-deposit"This is a sequential discovery puzzle that bucks the traditional SD tools for a small, unique coin release challenge. This puzzle is printed seamlessly; All inner mechanisms are assembled during the printing process. Get ready for lots of poking, prodding and a head scratch or two to release the quarter from it’s compartment. "The puzzle is located in the US. Buyer pays shipping.
