Wanderer Junior by Oskar / Tom Lensch
A truly rare and very fine example of Tom's craftsmanship. The smaller size is a perfect handheld delight - especially the perfect parabolic curves on the shuttle piece.
In 2017, Tom wrote to me: "Many years ago I made Oskar’s Wanderer and I have decided to make them again. This time I have made them smaller, and I am calling them “Wanderer Junior”. The original was made using 1/2” units and Wanderer Junior is made using 3/8” units (75% of the original). They will have Walnut frames with a Cherry wanderer piece or Cherry frame with a Walnut wanderer piece."
