The Pennyhedron puzzle was designed by Stewart Coffin, with some help and inspiration from his children. As the story goes, his kids used to glue puzzle blocks together in his shop which inspired him in the direction of the Pennyhedron. This is a clever puzzle with only 2 pieces, which he and his children used to sell with a penny inside hence the name.
Designer by Mike Snyder and entered into the IPP17 Design Competition this puzzle was made in very limited quantities and is rare so you won't see these sold very often.It is a maze with a twist! Place the ball in one side and escape from the other side - tough but enjoyable.The maze is made from heavy cast aluminum. The diameter of the maze is 3.5" across. The maze has a couple of scratches and light wear as shown in the pictures. The movement is completely smooth.
This a wonderful box with an engaging puzzle. Closing in on 26 years old this puzzle is in pristine shape and has been in storage for about that long. It's time puzzle find a good home.
Electro Puzzle No. 2, from Tenyo Co. Ltd. of Japan, probably 1980s. The cord can be taken out of the maze of metal loops! Measures about 4 3/4" diameter by 1 1/2". Used, but in excellent condition; no box
