Originating from Leontev’s 4‑ary cube dissection, the original version required a staggering 12,282 moves, approximately 205 minutes at one move per second while a refined edition reduced this to 8,190 moves, all housed within a precision-crafted resettable mechanism of just 38 pieces and 30+ steel pins.
