The Box of the Celts is a complex multi-stage sequential discovery puzzle box with many, many steps, designed with the experienced puzzler in mind – a true “puzzler’s puzzle”. It is a unique hybrid puzzle that draws together puzzling elements from many different genres – tool-based sequential discovery, puzzle boxes, puzzle locks, disentanglements, coordinated motion, mazes, hidden mechanisms, dis-assemblies, dexterity challenges, packing puzzles, and more.

This puzzle has been a labor of love - a year in the making and with nearly 200 design iterations, a dozen prototypes, several rounds of play testing, and much refinement along the way. It has come a long way since my first announcement (⁠builders-club⁠). Even though the exterior looks similar, there is much more going on than meets the eye!
