Joint 2, puzzle box by Hiroshi Iwahara (Karakuri)

Joint 2 (RF-76) was the 2022 Christmas gift of Hiroshi Iwahara for Karakuri members. 

Made of walnut, cherry, magnolia, old oak. 

As Iwahara said it himself, although Joint 2 "takes less work to open" than its predecessor, Karakuri Joint (RF-75) made earlier in 2022, "when I showed it to my fellow craftsmen, they seemed to have more trouble opening it."
