I’ve been wanting to make this design for years and now after decades making puzzles finally made a copy using some of my Salvaged Piano Wood.

One of the first puzzles that I purchased from Interlocking Puzzles (Wayne Daniel - RIP) in early 2000 was this familiar 12 Piece Pentomino design. I made a box to contain the 3x4x5 (3940 solutions) and the 2x5x6 (264 solutions) configuration.

Everything has my ‘Triple Buff Finish’ and comes with printed solutions sheet.

This classic design was one of my earliest puzzle builds in the early 2000’s that I made for Bill Cutler.It features 18 pieces with four solutions, however finding one will definitely keep you busy for some time!I’ve always wanted to revisit it but in a smaller scale, I used a 3/16” unit size with the overall size being approximately 6” x 4”.The woods used were salvaged from an old upright piano from the 1920’s that I layed out the keys in a wall hanging (see last photo).
