This Vary Box was created by Akio Kamei in 1989. Who is a Karakuri Creation Group’s master of craftsman. It is his his early masterpieces and  features very interesting mechanism. A beautiful shape and grain of box as a piece of art. also it will be a perfect interior decorating item on your shelf.

This item is very rare one it has “ Karakuri-Yasubei ” (Mr.Kamei)’s autograph on it. And The Kamei’s Stamp is on the inside of the box.

‘’ Craftsmen of all ages and countries have made many kinds of boxes. As the purpose of the box was storage, the stationary condition was the most important.

But if the most important purpose is the pleasure when you are opening the box or the expectation before you find something inside it, the box will need to change. Moreover if the shape of the box is changed, the attraction of the box will change and fill with all sorts of possibilities. ‘’
