Introducing the sixth puzzle design from us here at PPP, The Penny Farthing Box. The Penny Farthing Box has been down on paper for around a year and is a direct follow up to an earlier puzzle in our catalogue, The 3P Box. However, with The Penny Farthing Box, it is not just a trick opening box, this is a Sequential Discovery puzzle with around 7-10 unique steps to complete (depending on how you count them). It’s been a joy working on this latest puzzle and turning it from concept to physical design. For those who solve the puzzle, I hope you enjoy the mechanisms and how they interact, as well as some unique British history!

The goal is to find both coins that are hidden within two separate compartments within the puzzle. The Penny Farthing Box is made from American Black Walnut and Maple woods, and is 90mm(H) x 75mm(L) x 75mm(W).
