Each page is a mechanical puzzle that must be solved and unlocked in order to open the next page. On the back of each page, a story is revealed, depicting the adventure of an Apprentice of Leonardo Da Vinci. The puzzle has been solved a few times and is fully reset. There is slightly more space between pages 3 and 4 than between the other pages because the wood has expanded/warped a bit (see photo 6). This does not affect solving the puzzle in any way. All mechanisms work properly.
The puzzle comes with the instruction letter and hint booklet.
