Designed by Girish Sharma and produced by Pelikan's Czech workshop, the Shiba Inu is a figural interlocking puzzle.
“Shiba Inu” is an assembly zoo burr with standard 6 piece burr pieces and a (drum roll)… dog. The goal of the puzzle is to take the 6 pieces and first assemble it into standard 6 piece burr shape. Then disassemble and assemble it back again, but with the dog piece inside!”
The joinery is exactly what you'd expect from a Pelikan production: close tolerances, deliberate fit, no slop. The piece count is compact, but the geometry resists brute force. Once the first move reveals itself the sequence opens up — reassembly, as always, is where the design's cleverness fully lands.
A strong shelf piece: distinctive silhouette, clean grain selection, and the tactile quality that sets Pelikan apart from production-run puzzles.
