MaterialJapanese torreya, magnolia, cherry, mizuki (dogwood), walnut, etc.

There are multiple types of Karakuri boxes but I aimed to create something simple this time. My goal was to surprise you when you opened it making you want to open it over and over again, even though you knew the solution.
The motif is my favorite fish: "Yellow boxfish". It does not have dot patterns as a real one does but I aimed to capture the beauty of the Japanese Torreya wood and the unique cuteness of this fish. My hope is that you’ll want to display it and admire its beauty over and over again.

A customer asked me to make a set of these from an analysis that George Sicherman had done. He determined the 27 pieces with an additional 8 mirrored pieces completed all the possible assemblies consisting of from 1 to 4 edge beveled cubes. Since the customer intended to purchase several, I decided to make extras to see if there...

Juno's Arrowby Juno (Junichi Yananose)Juno's sliding block puzzle in impeccable condition. Like new! From Pluredro website:"This is a restricted sliding block puzzle and its difficulty is extreme. Juno believes that most human beings cannot solve the puzzle without the aid of a computer. As he vaguely remember, Juno himself needed around two weeks to find one of the solutions, and the solution that he found requires more steps than the minimum movements needed to reach the goal. Each sliding pie...
