Here's the stunning BBBB (Brian's Big Baffling Bolt) that I bought direct from Mr Puzzle in 2023.
This puzzle is incredible! The bolt is super heavy and crisply made and was hand made from raw brass by Brian himself, which I still cannot believe he can do. The mechanics and ideas hidden within were such a treat to explore and understand. It's precisely what you want from a Sequential Discovery puzzle.
This is all before you get to the box/stand for the bolt which I won't say anything about puzzling wise! It's made of beautiful Papua New Guinea Ebony with lovely streaky grain. The edge work on the box is so nice.
I cannot rave about this puzzle enough. It took me multiple hours to solve the puzzle entirely and it was a
great ride! The end moment is a special celebration of 30 years of Mr
Puzzle's work. I've solved it multiple times and it never ceases to be a joy. Even resetting it takes thought.
I'm needing to sell to fund another puzzle purchase, since I have a young baby and new puzzle budget is non-existent haha!
The puzzle has been kept in strict humidity control, and has just been gently polished and renaissance waxed to bring it back to it's original shine.
