Description

In Brackets

designed by Sam Cornwell
crafted by Eric Fuller (2009)

  • condition: as new
  • description: A beautifully made 3x3 interlocking cube wrapped by three wooden brackets, crafted from Peruvian Walnut and Zebrawood. It was Sam Cornwell's entry to the IPP30 Design Competition. The cube itself is fairly approachable, but the brackets must be inserted in one exact order, making the assembly quite tricky. With sharp edges, an excellent fit, signed pieces, it has the classic feel of Eric Fuller’s early work.

Camouflaged Burr by Émil Áskerli
Camouflaged Burrdesigned by Émil Áskerlicrafted by Eric Fuller (2016)condition: as newdescription: A companion to Disguised Burr, using the same Cherry and Walnut construction and the same idea of split and fixed sections hidden within a traditional six-piece burr shape. Camouflaged Burr uses a different arrangement and has a level 4.7 solution, compared with the 7.2.2 sequence of Disguised Burr, giving the two puzzles distinctly different movement despite their similar appearance.product page...
