Description

not sure what Juno thinks, but i consider this an honourary member of the card case series.  this is a sequential discovery puzzle, however, and the card cases aren't.  (also, while card cases come with solutions, no documentation came with this.)

for the record, this is one of my favourite of Juno's SD puzzles.  it's compact, it doesn't look like a puzzle but it is, and i think the solution path is rather elegant.

and yes: there's a ring inside, and i really want to see someone swap it out for a wedding ring and use it to propose to another puzzle collector.  i think that would be adorably fun.  and hopefully anyone proposed to by this method agrees with this.

all puzzles in my collection have been kept out of sunlight, in a humidity-stable room, away from pets unless they can solve them, and in a non-smoking household.

thank you for looking, and good luck if you bid.

Derek Bosch - Rhombic Maze Burr (Trifcho version)

Derek Bosch - Rhombic Maze Burr (Trifcho version)
based on Kagen Sound's Maze Burr and designed using John Raush's Maze Burr analysis program. made by Stefan Trifonov ('Trifcho') of SmarTrIQ Puzzles, printed in PLA. the tolerances and tension on this are absolutely perfect: movement of all panels is made as effortless as possible without allowing for accidental 'gravity' moves as the puzzle is turned. this puzzle is reconfigurable, and all outer panels are easily interchangeable with a magnetic tool to remove and replace the p...

Bill Cutler - Visible Burr (CubicDissection, 2015)
Bill Cutler's Visible Burr, made by Eric Fuller in 2015 out of canarywood, purpleheart, and padauk. Eric's (and Bill's)description: Another classic Cutler burr, I chose to interpret this one with more colorful woods than the usual cherry/walnut/maple. The size is also a bit smaller so it doesn't crowd your shelves. Here is what Bill has to say about the Visible Burr design: I like to design burrs which are difficult to take apart. This requires irregular not...

Juno - Club Case (2017)
number two of the card case series (♦ ♣ ♥ ♠). panel movement is rather stiff, but not immovably so.  like Spade Case (which is loose), it was always like that, and i don't know if this is true of all copies. comes with original solution sheet. buyer pays shipping. shipment will be by USPS Priority Mail, insured for the full sale price. payment via PayPal only. ♫:  all puzzles in my collection have been kept out of su...

Brian Young - Abraham's Well (2021)
like many of Brian's puzzles, this one requires an unusual amount of lateral thinking, the occasional break for food and sleep, and in some situations a running sotto voce commentary with questions to no one in particular.  (don't worry about it, no one's watching you, take your time.)also, the intended solution requires no force.  (physics teachers please refrain from commenting.)  i note this in its own paragraph because there was a bit of controversy among solvers about whether a particula...
