Description
Scion of the Tesseract is a puzzle printed by Kris Antibus with the following specifications:

2.9"x2.9"x2.9" cube.
Puzzle contains 75 components/parts, 25 of which are printed on Bambu X1Cs.
The rest is Carbon Fiber, PLA, Brass, Steel, and Neodymium magnets.

Scion of the Tesseract is a mechanical SD puzzle with many tools and stages to discover.
It is also unique that it is an assembly SD, with an additional SD puzzle box inside.
It is inspired by the work of Juno and Jerry McFarland.

Limited Carbon Fiber Black w/ Sparkle Red Parts and holographic diamond imagery from printer plate

When Kris started selling Scion, I grabbed this copy from the very first run and had a blast with this puzzle! It's a nicely compact cube that opens up into a cluttered mess with lots of tools and parts you need to poke around with to find the next step. Quite frankly, I'm amazed at how much puzzling is packed away into this tiny space. It just keeps going and going long past the point where I would have thought it'd end. At 26 moves, it's a lot of puzzling to do and I'd say there are 3 "stages" to the journey. So it's not a short or simple puzzling adventure for anyone worried about their fun ending too soon. If I didn't already own other versions of this puzzle, I wouldn't be auctioning this copy off.

It's also fairly unique as a print because it's made of Carbon Fiber printing material. It adds a nice feel of texture to the matte finish, has a nice hefty weight to the normally very light printed parts, the parts are stronger, and has incredible heat resistance where if normal pla melts due to the heat, this would not warp in the slightest. Sadly enough, Kris isn't printing with this material anymore due to the sheer wear and tear this imposes on his prints. He said the parts come out much easier than with normal pla, but he has to replace the nozzles and gears faster thanks to the roughness of the material.

So grab this copy for some puzzling fun and to geek out over a unique printed material that no one else is working with!

Matchbox Playground by Péter Gál
Does anyone remembers Oskar's Matchboxes? The solver had 5 matchboxes with a square shell and a box attached to it at different spots from piece to piece, and then they had to be put them together so all 5 boxes would fit inside another matchbox. It was a very interesting puzzle with 4 cavities to store small items inside and people had fun finding multiple ways to put the boxes together. It was fairly popular and not the only one of it's type! Matchbox Play Six by Olexandre Kapkan upped the cou...

Selling Rattler's Tail to raise funds for a new puzzle!Rattler's Tail is a tricky puzzle that left me stumped after each step, but I had a lot of fun solving it! It does a good job of living up to it's theme of the Wild West considering it's based around the rattler snake which is iconic to the setting. In either case, this is a puzzle in excellent shape, only been solved twice ever, and comes with the original certificate and shipping box it first came to me directly from Jesse! The starting auc...

Minima Smiley by Frederic Boucher
Frederic Boucher has been crafting Minima after Minima design where he works to design a packing puzzle within a 2 by 2 by 3 box where either the solver has to fit in a set of pieces, or figure out how to take them out. He used to number them, but after reaching #14 which developed into a full blown sequential discovery puzzle (Jammed Gem), they've spiraled out into other names and really stretching the original packing concept of a Minima. At this point, the total number of Minima designs is ...

Archipuzzle by Lucie Pauwels
Archipuzzle is actually a sequel of sorts to Stuffing Burr despite both puzzles being designed by different people.Just like Stuffing Burr, Archipuzzle is an unusual burr puzzle where the goal is to assemble it instead of taking the burr apart. Furthermore, it has a catch in that it has no obvious goal shape unlike most other burrs. Instead, solvers need to figure out how to assemble the pieces in a way that every notch is filled in with another piece.Lucie was inspired by Volker's Stuffing Burr...
